I've recently downloaded this computer phone-app
and it is highly recommended.
It is not a video chat program. It is only for calls to landlines and cellphones.
It is completely free.
The only thing is that it plays ads/videos.
But they can be paused, or muted.
Also, you have to submit your email to make it work.
They do not send you spam (as far as I can tell so far)
They do not collect your personal videos, conversations, and pictures the way Skype does.
